Medivana is a cloud-based electronic medical record (EMR) and clinic management application: patient care, pharmacy, inventory, cashier, claims, accounting, HR, and CRM under one sign-in.
What you need to know
- Cloud, no installation. Open Medivana in a web browser (the last two versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox) on a computer, tablet, or phone at
app.medivana.cloud. Data is stored on servers in Indonesia. - Organization → branch → unit. Your clinic account is one organization that can have several branches (locations). Each branch has units, for example the General clinic, Pharmacy, Cashier, and Warehouse.
- Roles and permissions. Every user has a role (for example Doctor, Cashier, Accountant) that determines which menus and actions they can use, and roles can differ per branch.
- One flow from registration to reports. Registration → consultation → prescription/diagnostics → pharmacy → cashier. Every step that involves money automatically creates an accounting journal entry, so your financial reports are always up to date.
- Connected to SATUSEHAT and BPJS. SATUSEHAT is the Ministry of Health's national health data platform; BPJS Kesehatan is the national health insurance agency that runs the JKN program. Visit data is sent automatically in the background. If SATUSEHAT or BPJS services are disrupted, your clinic keeps working and the data is resent automatically.
- Modules follow your plan. Modules that are not part of your plan appear grayed out (Module Gate), with an invitation to see a demo of that module.
- Medivana AI Assistant, 24/7. Available on every screen to answer questions, guide you through setup, and analyze data within your access rights.
The flow of one visit
- The patient books online or walks in; the registration admin looks up the patient by NIK (national identity number) and issues a queue number.
- The nurse records the history taking and vital signs.
- The doctor examines the patient on the Consultation screen and records the diagnosis, procedures, prescription, and diagnostic orders.
- The pharmacy prepares and dispenses the medication; stock and cost of goods sold (COGS) are reduced automatically.
- The cashier invoices per payer; revenue and accounts receivable journal entries are created.
- The visit is closed; the data is sent to SATUSEHAT (and to PCare, the BPJS primary care system, if the patient is a JKN member).
