BPJS PCare and Online Queue: sync status and errors

Updated 30 Oct 2026

In this article

For clinics contracted with BPJS Kesehatan (Indonesia's national health insurance agency, which runs the JKN program), Medivana sends registrations, visits, diagnoses, medication, procedures, and referrals to PCare (the BPJS primary care application) and syncs the BPJS Online Queue (Antrean Online). BPJS submissions use a separate queue from SATUSEHAT, so a BPJS outage never holds up SATUSEHAT.

Preparation

  1. Settings → Integrations → BPJS: enter the Cons ID, Secret Key, User Key, and the facility's PCare account (permission "Manage integration credentials").
  2. Enter the branch's PPK code (healthcare facility code) and the BPJS clinic unit code for each clinic unit (Settings → Branches & units).
  3. Enter the BPJS doctor code in each doctor's user record.
  4. Map the BPJS procedure codes in the service master data if needed.
  5. JKN patients: enter the BPJS card number and choose BPJS as the payer from registration onward.

Error messages and solutions

"The PCare visit has not been sent: the primary diagnosis is missing." No primary diagnosis Set the primary diagnosis
"The BPJS procedure code for … has not been entered in the service master data." The procedure is not mapped yet Complete the service master data
"… rejected by BPJS: (message from BPJS) …" BPJS validation (for example an inactive card or an invalid referral) Follow the BPJS message; correct the data, then Resend

Online Queue

Bookings made by JKN patients in the BPJS app arrive as appointments with the source "BPJS". The queue status (called, being served, done) is synced whenever it changes. If the Online Queue is disrupted, serve patients as usual from the Medivana queue.
