Following the program stages

Two stages, one system

The SATUSEHAT e-prescription program for pharmacies runs in stages. Medivana Apotek covers both stages in one subscription per outlet.

  1. Stage 1

E-prescriptions served at the pharmacy counter

    • Look up a prescription by QR or code, or by NIK and prescription number
    • Prescriptions past their validity date cannot be filled
    • Prescription review and approval by the responsible pharmacist
    • Partial fills and repeats are recorded
    • MedicationDispense sent to SATUSEHAT automatically
  2. Stage 2

    Published catalogue and online orders

    • Catalogue per branch: KFA code, pack, price, and available stock
    • Safety stock and stock already ordered are not published
    • Published periodically and whenever stock changes
    • Order inbox from received to completed
    • WhatsApp or email notification at every step

The schedule of each stage follows official announcements from the Ministry of Health. The catalogue publisher supports both push (signed webhook) and pull (API), so it can be pointed at an aggregator according to the program's technical specification.

About PSEF. Medivana is in the process of registering as a PSEF (Penyelenggara Sistem Elektronik Farmasi, the Indonesian registration for online pharmacy platforms). The registration number will be shown on this page once it is issued. Each pharmacy keeps its own SIA licence, with a responsible pharmacist (APJ) who holds an active SIPA.

  • KFA-equivalent substitution

Generic substitutes by KFA equivalence, only when the prescriber allows it, with the patient's consent recorded.

  • Batch-level stock

Automatic FEFO batch picking, near-expiry stock in view, and stock taking.

Responsible pharmacist, pharmacy technician, cashier, and owner, each with their own access, plus an audit trail.

Compliance

Pharmacy rules enforced by the system

  • Decisions stay with the pharmacist

Prescription review and substitution approval by the responsible pharmacist only.

  • Prescription-only drugs need a prescription

The POS blocks sales of prescription-only drugs without a prescription.

  • No narcotics online

Narcotics, psychotropics, and precursors are never published to the online catalogue.

  • Practice licences tracked

The expiry dates of the responsible pharmacist's SIPA and STR show on the pharmacy dashboard.

  • Protected credentials

SATUSEHAT client ID and secret are stored encrypted per pharmacy.

  • Data in Indonesia

Servers in Indonesia, encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access.

The system supports record-keeping and controls. Professional responsibility and pharmacy licensing remain with the pharmacy and its responsible pharmacist under the applicable regulations.

What is Medivana's PSEF status?

Medivana is in the process of registering as a PSEF. The registration number will be shown on this page once it is issued.
