Teleconsultations run over video in the browser, with no app to install.
Flow
- The patient books a teleconsultation slot (through the booking portal or an admin).
- The patient pays in advance; the session is locked until the payment is confirmed.
- The patient's teleconsultation consent is recorded.
- At the scheduled time, the doctor and the patient open the session link. Allow the camera and microphone in the browser.
- The doctor records the SOAP note, diagnosis, and electronic prescription on the Consultation screen just like a regular visit (visit type: teleconsultation).
Tips
- Use a stable connection; close other apps that use the camera.
- If the video fails, the doctor can contact the patient through a backup channel according to the clinic's policy and record it.
- Sessions are not recorded unless there is separate consent.
