Exporting all of your clinic's data

The owner can export all of the clinic's data at any time, including when cancelling the subscription.

What the export contains

• FHIR JSON for clinical data (patients, visits, diagnoses, procedures, observations, allergies, prescriptions, immunizations).
• CSV per table for operational data (invoices, payments, stock, claims, employees, etc.).
• Accounting reports (profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance, general ledger) for the selected fiscal year.

Everything is packaged in one encrypted ZIP protected by a password you choose.

Steps

1. Settings → Data export (permission "Full data export").
2. Choose the fiscal year for the reports and the parts to include (FHIR, CSV, reports).
3. Set the ZIP password. Keep the password somewhere safe; Medivana does not store it after the file is created.
4. The export is processed in the background; you are notified when it is ready.
5. Download the file before the link expires.

Notes

• Export requests are recorded in the audit log.
• Keep the export in line with the clinic's medical record retention obligations.
• For a copy of a single patient's data (a patient request), print the medical record summary or contact the Medivana team.
